In October of 2018, a category 5 hurricane hit my town. This caused the majority of us to have to restart our lives from the ground up again, literally and figuratively.

Taking Pictures Was My Solace


I spent the next three years in limbo, lost and unsure of what to do or make of myself. Things were constantly changing as we shifted from hurricane aftermath to a pandemic. One constant throughout those years, however, was my camera. I bought it not long after the storm as a hobby to fill my time with while our town was rebuilt and my favorite memories now, are when I pulled out my camera and started capturing everything I could.
